How to reach McGill University
McGill University is located in the hear of Montreal, sandwiched between downtown and Mount Royal - a large park. There are many domestic and international flights into Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport (YUL). Please consult your local travel agencies for details.
Options to get to McGill from the airport:
- The STM 747 bus is the cheapest option at a $10 fare. If you are paying on the bus, you will need exact cash (in coins ONLY). You can buy a ticket at the automated STM machine inside the airport terminal using a debit or credit card.
- Taxi service from the airport is at a fixed rate of $40. It is customary to also give a 10-15% tip ($4-$6).
- We don't recommend renting a car. Parking in downtown and around McGill is very limited and expensive. Accommodations are within a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the venue.
