DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Élodie Lescure (University of Lethbridge)\nRelativi
stic jets launched from accreting compact objects are thought to play an i
mportant role in the Universe\, influencing large-scale processes such as
galaxy evolution and star formation. However\, the connection between thei
r properties and those of the accretion flow remains poorly understood. Mu
lti-wavelength time-domain observations of black hole X-ray binaries provi
de a new avenue to study this connection in detail. By probing different c
omponents of the system at different wavelengths\, these observations allo
w us to trace the evolution of gas from inflow to outflow. Recently\, we l
aunched a first-of-its-kind observational program designed to obtain multi
-wavelength time-domain observations spanning an entire X-ray binary outbu
rst. In this talk\, I will present the first results from this program\, i
ncluding recent ALMA and VLT observations of BW Cir (GS 1354-64).\n\nhttps
